Boring yet very important information about the ingredients we use and why they matter.
- Sorbitol: helps hold the toothpaste together and keeps it smooth, soft and moist
- Hydrated Silica: helps to polish your teeth while gently removing surface stains
- Water: helps to dissolve ingredients
- Glycerin: helps retain moisture to prevent the toothpaste from drying out
- Xylitol: a dentally friendly natural sweetener, used as a substitute for sugar. It helps to reduce plaque and helps prevent cavities
- Flavour: natural flavour blends used to enhance the taste of toothpaste to encourage brushing
- Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate: makes the toothpaste foam to help to remove food particles the mouth
- Xanthan Gum: helps to thicken toothpaste to make it the right consistency
- Cellulose Gum: helps to thicken toothpaste to make it the right consistency
- Sodium Fluoride: helps prevent cavities and protect enamel by making it more resistant to future acidic attack. 500 parts per million (ppm) Fluoride is the age-appropriate level for kids aged 2-6 as recommended by the Australian Dental Association (ADA)
- Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate: helps prevent tartar build-up and stains
- Sodium Benzoate: helps prevent bacteria and mould from growing in the toothpaste
- Trisodium Phosphate: helps balance the pH level in the toothpaste
- Mica: makes toothpaste fun and sparkly
- CI 77891, CI 42090, CI 19140, CI 16035: tiny amounts of colour to add LOTS of fun
